Circular Saw Blades  


Executive Summary

Optimet's MK10 HD with a 25 mm focal lens was used to inspect circular saw blades. The main industrial inspection during the scanning is related to the saw blades' sharpness. Two radii were measured on the blade: one on its edge and one on its side, both with very accurate results.

Scanning using Optimet sensor MK10 and any appropriate stage system.

Measurement on edge

  • Measurement rate: 9KHz
  • X‐step: 2 µm
  • Y‐step: 10 µm
Measurement on side
  • Measurement rate: 9KHz
  • X‐step: 2 µm
  • Y‐step: 10 µm
