Metallic Surface Scan  


Executive Summary

Optimet’s ConoProbe MK10 with 75 mm and 100 mm focal lenses was to scan a metallic surface. The main industrial application is related to the samples’ height, radius, angles and roughness. Three different kinds of samples were measured during the inspection, all of them with highly accurate results:
  • Colored specimens
  • Steel and aluminum plates  
  • Contoured plates 

All of the samples are highly reflective, but due to Optimet technology’s capability to measure all kinds of objects, we were able to obtain optimal performances.
